How Can We Know

We aren't completely sure what awaits us after death, and we can only dream. Not only does religion and science lead us to our conclusions but also imaginative thoughts. I would like this "place" to be warm and cozy, like Christmas Eve by the fireplace with traditional food, gifts, and happiness. It should make a person remember their past, home, and family but make them be happy they lived through all that, not upset and miss those moments. Everyone that left the face of the planet before you would be there and you would be able to catch up with one another, chatting away over hot tea and biscuits. There would be no pressure, just like on a summer morning drinking ice, cold lemonade on the front lawn. Comfort wouldn't be a problem and there would be no such thing as depression, disease, and even simple tears. You could lift everything like a feather and all of your insecurities would have been lifted just the same. No one would have heard of crime and peace would not be the expectation but the typical. It would be like a paradise in another world.
