Correction!
With my last blog post, I stated that I believe the short story of "Indian Camp" is a coming of age story. I think my definition is correct and I was right in all parts but I didn't look at the last sentence of the story as a factor. I agree with what was discussed in class and therefor have altered my opinion. Nick asked many questions and gained some knowledge but did not learn the whole truth and must have interpreted the information as dying as something that you do to yourself and that only you can control it. He still had false views on the world at the end of the story, which means he did not completely mature for the story to be considered a coming of age short story.
